Points to remember

  1. Place the blocking arm on top of the opposite shoulder with the opposite arm extended to the front, palms facing down. { Fig 1}
  2. Drive the blocking arm upwards above the head while at the same time pull the extended arm {reaction arm} back to the hip.{ Fig 2}
  3. The fist of the blocking arm finishes higher than the elbow.

    Step forward in walking stance and repeat technique on the opposite side.
