Line work, 1 step sparring (25 separate moves), 3 step sparring no's 1 to 9, 2 step sparring No's 1 to 4, pattern gwang gae, + all previous patterns. Self defence, free sparring, Theory (meaning to gwang gae, meaning to black belt and any other question Relating to previous gradings) minimum time from beginning to this grade is 3½ years (the exact time period between black tag and black belt grade will depend on what date the black belt grading is scheduled for and how hard the student trains. A period of around 6 months is required between black tag and black belt). Opposite to white, therefore signifies the maturity and proficiency in taekwondo, also indicates the wearers imperviousness to darkness and fearinterpretations Gwang gae 39 movements is named after the famous gwang gae t'o wang , the 19th king of the koguryo dynasty who regained all the lost territories including the greater part of manchuria. The diagram of this pattern represents the expansion and recovery of the lost territories. The 39 movements refer to his reign of 39 years.this pattern starts with narani chumbi soggi d ..... Taekwondo instructors. Each examiner scores independently of the other examiners.the scores are accumilated, divided by the number of examiners on the panel And then divided by the number of units taken on the grading to give an overall Score. This score must be 60 or more to be successful.grading results are sent by mail no later than 10 days following the grading .
