Syllabus For 6th Kup Blue Belt

Line work, 1 step sparring (10 separate moves), 3 step sparring no's 1, 2 and 3,

Pattern won hyo + previous patterns, free sparring, theory ( meaning to won hyo, Meaning to blue belt, any question relating to previous gradings).

Minimum time from last grade is dependant on how hard the student trains.

Belt meanings.

Signifies the heaven towards which the plant matures into a towering tree,

Attacking moves.

  • The attacker always moves their right leg backwards into walking stance and forms
  • A low block, shouts and waits for the other student to shout back, then steps
  • Forward three times executing a middle section punch each time.

Defending moves.

Number 1

  • Right leg backwards into walking stance, inner forearm block with the left arm.
  • Left leg backwards into walking stance, inner forearm block with the right arm.
  • Right leg backwards into walking stance, inner forearm block with the left arm.
  • Reverse punch with the right fist.

Number 2

  • Left leg backwards into l-stance, inner forearm block with the right arm.
  • Right leg backwards into l- stance, inner forearm block with the left arm.
  • Left leg backwards into l-stance inner forearm block with the right arm.
  • Side knifehand strike (to the other students neck) with the right hand.

Number 3

  • Left leg backwards into l- stance, inward moving block with the right arm.
  • Right leg backwards into l- stance, inward moving block with the left arm.
