Syllabus For 5th Kup Purple Belt

Line work, 1 step sparring (15 separate moves), 3 step sparring no,s 1 to 6,pattern yul gok + previous patterns, free sparring, theory (meaning to yul gok, meaning to blue belt, Any question relating to previous gradings).

Minimum time required from last grading is depends on how hard the student trains.

Belt meanings - Purple

There is no meaning to purple belt.

Interpretations - Yul gok 38 movements.

Is the psueudonym of the philosopher and scholar yi -l (1536 to 1584). Nicknamed the confucious of korea . The 38 moves of this pattern refer to his birthplace On 38 degrees lattitude, and the diagram represents scholar.

  • Left leg backwards into l -stance, outer forearm block with the right arm
  • Right leg backwards into l -stance, outer forearm block with the left arm

  • Right leg backwards into l -stance, outer forearm block with left arm
